We’ve entered the home run of the 2022 USFL season, and the game’s picture is starting to take shape.

Two teams – the Birmingham Stallion and the New Jersey Generals – have already won playoffs. The Generals earned their winnings by defeating the Bandits in Week 7 while the Stallions advanced thanks to the Generals’ victory and their victory over the Maulers. Birmingham is still undefeated 7-0.

Now, there are only two qualifying points left to be settled. The Philadelphia Stars and New Orleans Breakers have the inside track to earn those spots, with the Stars leading by three games in the race for second place in the Northern Division and the Breakers a two-game lead over the Tampa Bay Bandits in the Southern Division.

USFL Friday USFL TV Channel, Live Streaming

Here’s how to watch the USFL game that plays on Friday.

Generals vs. Traders

  • Starting: 8 p.m. Eastern time
  • TV channel: United States of America
  • Live broadcast: fuboTV
  • Probabilities (via Mathematical Interaction): Generals -8.5 (-120) | hits +8.5 (-120)

New Jersey has already sealed a place in the 2022 USFL Playoffs, but the Generals have a chance to snatch the top spot in the Northern Division with their win and loss of stars this week. Therefore, they are still playing for something and will be looking to ride an outstanding sprint and solid defense for their seventh straight win. It will certainly help if midfielder DeAndre Johnson returns after losing time with an ankle injury.

Meanwhile, the Maulers have only one win a season and are still struggling as a quarterback. Last week, coach Kirby Wilson turned away Fad Lee late in Pittsburgh’s loss to the Stallions and put Roland Rivers 3 into the game. One would need to hurry up to keep up with the generals, although the Maulers defense could keep them in the match early.

Broadcast live on USFL TV channel on Saturday

Here’s how to watch the USFL game that will be played on Saturday.

stallions vs crushers

  • Starting: 3 p.m. Eastern time
  • TV channel: Fox
  • Live broadcast: fuboTV
  • Probabilities (via Mathematical Interaction): Stallions -3 (-120) | +3 breakers (-120)

Once again, Stallions are playing in the game of the week, and the Breakers character is the only team that has a chance of beating them. Birmingham has one of the most balanced teams in the NFL, and they’ve been particularly good at forcing turnovers but not sticking to them. They lead the league with a plus-five turnover margin and have a top three game that allows them to control the ball when attacking.

Meanwhile, the Breakers are one of the top three in the USFL and have an explosive attack led by USFL passing captain Kyle Slaughter. Linebackers Anthony Jones and Jordan Ellis have advanced in recent weeks as well, so the Breakers have a good balance. They just need to avoid allowing big plays in defense on offense and turn the ball frequently when attacking.

When these two teams first met in Week 3, the Stallions won 22-13. The Breakers should be eager to take revenge and end Birmingham’s winning streak, so it should be a close match, especially if the New Orleans attack plays better than it did in the first encounter.

Sunday matches USFL TV channels, live streams

Here’s how to watch the two USFL games that will be played on Sunday.

stars vs panthers

  • Starting: Noun ET
  • TV channel: Fox
  • Live broadcast: fuboTV
  • Probabilities (via Mathematical Interaction): Stars -5.5 (-120) | Panthers +5.5 (-120)

This game represents the last chance for the Panthers to survive in the playoff race. They need to win and see the stars lose to get to Canton. Unlikely, but Michigan is at least in control of its own destiny in Week 8. Josh Love looked good in the Panthers quarterback, whose game continued to run well against New Orleans last week. They just need to be able to finish the match, as they lost in overtime last week.

As for the stars, they put in a strong offensive performance to secure a win coming from behind over the gamblers. A win would see them finish second in the Northern Division and a trip to the playoffs where they play New Jersey. Bart Andros knows this, so expect the team to come out strong against Michigan.

Bandits vs. Gamblers

  • Starting: 4 p.m. Eastern time
  • Live broadcast: peacock
  • Probabilities (via Mathematical Interaction): Bandit -4.5 (-130) | Gamblers +4.5 (-110)

The Thieves are two back-to-back matches from the Breakers and they lose to them head-to-head in their first encounter. This will be a game to be won either way, as they will either need to stay two games behind the Breakers or have a chance to reduce their deficit to one before facing Week 9.

The staff turnover battle will be the thing to watch in this competition. Tampa Bay has struggled with turnover this season and posted a turnover margin of minus 10, by far the worst in the USFL. Meanwhile, punters, despite their 1-6 record, have a plus-four turnover margin, which is good for second in the league. Jordan Taamo will need to be slick in order for Tampa Bay to win and stay in the playoffs.
