Kim is finally revealing the full story of how she ended up with the ‘Saturday Night Live’ alum after the pair shared an on-screen kiss while she was hosting.
Initially, Kim Kardashian was keeping her relationship with Pete Davidson down even while filming the first season of the new Hulu series ‘The Kardashians’. That all changed with this latest episode.
At first, her concern was that if things didn’t work out between the two of them, she wouldn’t want to be seen as a “stupid. Or a whore.” Even in public, the two played pretty shy for the first several months, with fans speculating if this was friendship or something else.
Kim played it at the time as if the two were just having fun, and it turns out that might be more true than we realized.

Fans already knew it all started when Kim hosted “Saturday Night Live” in October 2021. In what could be considered a key moment in their relationship if the distance goes over, the two shared an on-screen kiss during the “Aladdin”-topic drawing.
Kim admitted that even at that moment, she felt something, saying that she felt “lively” when they kissed.
“I was like, ‘Oh ***, maybe I just need to try something different. But Pete didn’t come to my party. “Everyone was at the party after me. He doesn’t give me the time of day.”
Apparently, the old adage that there is value in playing hard to get, so to speak, has some truth to it. In fact, it was Kim who went out of her way to connect with Pete, admitting that she reached out to a producer on the show to get his number.
This feeling she was feeling was not necessarily telling the last divorcee that she was ready to enter into a new relationship. “I was just thinking, like, I heard about BDE and I need to get out there,” I laughed. “I need to jump.”
After that, Kim said, in plain English, “I was basically just a DTF.”

DTF “reduced to f—” and BDE was attributed to Pete Davidson by former Ariana Grande who described his “big energy” by saying that in his case it was actual. Pete awkwardly downplayed this assertion in later interviews, joking that Ariana’s perspective might be off because she’s such a petite person.
When she gets to know Pete, Kim finds herself drawn to him for more than his “energy”. She called him “the best human I’ve ever met”, drawing on his heart and sense of humour.
Kim said, “People always say he’s super funny and it all has to do with how funny he is. But this, for example, is fourth on my list of why I like him.” “He always wants the best for people, he can handle anything, and he always does it gracefully. He’s really, really, thoughtful, humble and very honest. I’d say the perfect word to describe him is authentic.”
Hilariously, while Pete was playing hard by skipping at Kim’s after-party, he was actually trying to shoot with the reality star after her marriage to Kanye West ended.
Kim revealed that Megan Fox told her Pete was looking for Kim’s number even before she appeared on SNL, with Megan telling him, “Dude, you have a better shot than me and Kelly machine gun Crocodiles eat it more than ever they get their number. “

Little did she know that it wouldn’t be long before Kim looked up Pete’s number — and found a more sympathetic partner on “SNL” producer than Pete did on Meghan.
As for BDE energy, Kim hinted at this while talking about the evolution of her sexuality now that she’s in her forties. She laughed, “When I turned 40, everyone said, ‘It’s the best sex of your life.'” And so far–“
She finished the idea with a wink, and since she and Pete are still going strong, so we think we can fill the void there.
Pete even nearly made his first appearance on the show, chatting with Kim on the phone as she headed out to shoot the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimwear issue.
Now that Saturday Night Live says goodbye after eight seasons, will Pete have time — or interest — in his schedule to appear in future episodes of “The Kardashians”? Fans can find out when new episodes drop every Thursday on Hulu.
